Toggle Selection ( Drawing Editor )

Tool summary :

• Selects objects that are not selected or deselects objects that are selected.
• Toggle Selection allows you to make a single selection or deselection by clicking an object or drawing an area box around multiple objects.
• Alternatively, while in Select Items mode, you can hold down the Ctrl+Shift keys and left-click ( Toggle ) a selected object to accomplish the same. Unlike using Toggle Selection , this selection mode allows you select or deselect multiple objects with a lasso selection and to toggle multiple selections.
• To invoke Toggle Selection :

Method 1 : Click the Toggle Selection icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Selection ' ( Drawing Editor ) and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).

Method 2, 3 or 4 : Toggle Selection can also be configured to be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the lightning interface, this configuration is done using Customize Interface .
