Step-by-step instructions :
The following instructions assume that you are using a 3-button mouse.
1 . Before using this tool:
1a : You need to have done a Copy or Cut or Copy with Reference Point or Cut with Reference Point operation in your current drawing or in another drawing.
1b : On the layer selection tool , select the drawing layer that you want to paste to.
2 . Invoke Paste Repeatedly using any one (1) of the following methods:
Method 1 : Click the Paste Repeatedly icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Edit ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).
Method 2 : If " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Edit > Paste Repeatedly .
Method 3, 4 or 5 : Paste Repeatedly can also be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the ' Lightning ' layout style, configuration of the interface is done using Customize Interface .
3 . Locate- Pan -Return mouse bindings become active along with various Locate options (snaps). The status line prompts, " Place reference point ." The group of objects most recently saved using Copy or Cut or etc. is shown on screen. A point location target identifies the reference point of the group of objects.

3a . Optionally select a different Locate icon ( FRPT is the default). Place the mouse pointer ( ) so the point location target snaps to where you want the group of objects to be pasted, then left-click ( Locate ) to place the group of objects on the selected layer .
3b Repeat step 3a as many times as you like to paste additional copies of the group of objects. Note that you can select a different layer on the layer selection tool between pastes.
3c . Right-click ( Return ) when you are done.
Tip: The pasted objects can be removed (one at a time) with Undo . You can even Undo while you are in Paste Repeatedly .
