Main material: or . A read-only " General settings " button.

indicates the member's main material (its " Section size ") has been graphically altered. For example, a user of a full-featured SDS2 program may have cut the main material using a tool such as Cut Layout , Exact Fit , Mitre , Cope , Notch , Cut on Plane , Chamfer or Edit Material . Cuts into the main material that are automatically made during connection design do not cause the main material to be designated as ' USER '. On the General Information window for member main material that is graphical, you will find that the material is tagged as " User modified main member material ."

indicates that the member's main material has not been altered by the user since that material was originally generated in a full-featured SDS2 program . On the General Information window for member main material that is not graphical, you will find that the material is tagged as " System generated main member material ."

Warning: USER MAIN MATERIAL -- User modifications could interfere with connection (in the Connection Design Calculations Report or Expanded Connection Design Calculations Report ).

Exceptions: A full-featured SDS2 program does not change main material to graphical when a user adds a hole or bolt. Also, the user of that program can manually switch this setting to prevent changes to the material.

Marked for processing: or . A read-only " General settings " button.

VIDEO When members are marked for processing their " Marked for process " status indicators read ' Yes ' and are red. The members can only be displayed in stick form . (Recorded in SDS2 Detailing , v7.2.)

indicates that the member has been marked for Process and Create Solids , perhaps because it has not yet undergone Process and Create Solids , or because the user of a full-featured SDS2 program has interactively marked it for Processing .

means the member has undergone Process and Create Solids in a full-featured SDS2 program at least one time and that changes to the model since that time have not caused it to again be marked for Processing .

Marked for detailing: or . A read-only " General settings " button.

indicates that the member has been marked for detailing . A member is automatically marked for detailing when its detail has not yet be generated or when the member has been altered in Modeling since the time that its detail has been generated. To cause this field to read " NO ," the member has to be detailed (or redetailed) in a full-featured SDS2 program .

means that the member has undergone automatic detailing and has not been altered in Modeling since that time. or it means that the user of a full-featured SDS2 program has switched this button to " NO " to prevent the member's detail from being detailed again.

Node-match job: or . A read-only " General settings " button.

indicates that the beam has been marked for the node matching phase of Process and Create Solids and can only be displayed in stick form . Process and Create Solids in a full-featured SDS2 program makes this line read " NO " instead of " YES ."

indicates that the framing situation of this member has not changed since in was first added or last edited.

Model complete: or . A read-only " General settings " button.

indicates that a " Model complete date " has been set (below).

means that a " Model complete date " has not been set.

Model complete date: **NOT SET** or a month day year .

' **NOT SET** ' indicates that the member can be physically altered in a full-featured SDS2 program .

A ' month day year ' indicates that, at the very least, Process and Create Solids cannot change the solids model of this member. Additional restrictions apply if ' Restrictive ' is selected below (or if ' Auto ' is checked and restrictive is selected in setup).

If " Operations " for " Members " is turned on ( ) in Event Logging Setup , the setting of a " Model complete date " is reported as " Model compete date set " in the " Log " of the affected member. The " Log " reports " Model complete date cleared " when the " Model complete date " is changed to ' **NOT SET** '.

Status Report by XXX: Model complete

Type: Auto or Restrictive or Legacy : This applies when a " Model complete date " is entered.

' Auto (checked)' applies the choice made to " Auto model complete type " in Status Control setup.

' Auto (not checked)' applies the selected choice that is made here (' Restrictive ' or ' Legacy ').

' Restrictive ' "freezes" the model complete member, helping to ensure that its member piecemark and submaterial marks and solids model will not change. Process and Create Solids cannot change the member, and users of a full-featured SDS2 program cannot make changes to the member's materials, holes, bolts or welds. The member cannot be erased, moved or deleted. Users of a full-featured SDS2 program users can frame new members to a restrictive-model-complete member, but a connection that changes the restrictive-model-complete member cannot generated.

' Legacy ' applies only a single restriction to the affected member. During its Create Solids phases, Process and Create Solids is restricted from regenerating any materials that comprise the affected member. This restriction preserves the solids model in whatever state it was in when the " Model complete date " was set.

Regardless of the choice made here: If " Operations " for " Members " is turned on ( ) in Event Logging Setup , the setting of a " Model complete date " is reported as " Model compete date set " in the " Log " of the affected member. The " Log " reports " Model complete date removed " when the " Model complete date " is changed to ' **NOT SET** '.

Lift assignment: Not assigned or a crane placement name or blank . Lifts can be assigned to members in the Site Planning program. Tools for adding and managing cranes can also be made available in the SDS2 Detailing program.

' Not assigned ' is the entry shown here if a lift has not been assigned to the member.

' A crane placement name ' is shown here if a particular crane placement with that name has been assigned to lift the member.

' Blank ' (no entry shown here) indicates that you are editing multiple members which have different lift assignments.
