Mark/Unmark member CNC downloaded ( Home & 3D & 2D)

Tool summary :

  • Marks or unmarks members for CNC downloading. When members are marked for CNC downloading, they are, by default, selectable on the selection dialog for CNC downloading by member piecemark.
  • Member piecemarks can be selected for CNC downoading when the CNC downloading selection dialog is set to " Select " by ' Details '.

   Step-by-step instructions :

1 . Do any of the following to invoke Mark /Unmark member CNC downloaded :

▸ Home > Utilities > Utility Functions > Change Options > Mark /Unmark member CNC downloaded .

▸ Click the Mark /Unmark member CNC downloaded icon, which is pictured above. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Edit -- Change Options ' and placed on the ribbon.

▸ Mark /Unmark member CNC downloaded can also be configured to be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the lightning interface, this configuration is done using Customize Interface .

2 . After you invoke this Change option, the Select Piecemarks selection dialog opens. On it is a list of member piecemarks that are in the 3D model.

After you press " OK ," the choice you make in the next step will either mark or unmark for CNC downloading the member piecemarks you selected here, on this window.

2a : Select the members you want, then press " OK ."

Alternative : You can press " Cancel " to end this operation.

3 . A window opens so that you can choose the operation you want to perform. Your choices of operations are " NOT Downloaded " and " Downloaded ."

Alternative 1 : Press the " NOT Downloaded " button to have " CNC Downloaded " read ' NO ' on the General Information window of those materials that are under the member piecemarks that you selected in step 2.

Alternative 2 : Press the " Downloaded " button to have " CNC Downloaded " read ' YES ' on the General Information window of those members that you selected in step 2.

4 . The window closes, and all of the members that you selected in step 2 are marked per the choice that you made in step 3.

  • If User and Site Options > Site > " Hide items that have been downloaded from CNC selection menu " is turned on (checked) and you pressed the " Downloaded " button in step 2, the member piecemarks that you selected in step 2 will not be listed on the selection dialog for downloading by ' Details '.
  • This tool also sets whether " CNC Downloaded " says ' YES ' or ' NO ' on the General Information window of those materials that you select. All materials under the marks that you select in step 2 will be affected in the same way.
  • This Change option does not affect piecemarking.
