Label Edit All
Tool summary :
- Automatically opens a window for multi-editing all labels that are on shown layers in your current drawing.
- Shown layers are visible layers (layers marked " Show "). Since Label Edit All works only on visible layers, you can -- prior to activating this tool -- turn off particular layers to exclude labels that are on those layers from being edited.
- Label Edit All can help you to ensure that labels are drawn consistently. When the Label Edit window opens, you can easily identify mixed entries because they are grayed out . If you then, for example, change the " Font ," all labels will be assigned that same font.
- The selection of objects that is made prior to using Label Edit All does not affect the operation of the tool, nor does the tool affect the selection. For example, if you have clouds selected before you activate the tool, the clouds remain selected after Label Edit All is done.
- To invoke Label Edit All and edit all labels that are on shown layers:
Method 1 : Click the Label Edit All icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Objects -- Labels ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).
Method 2 : If " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Objects > Labels > Edit All .
Method 3, 4 or 5 : Label Edit All can also be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the ' Lightning ' layout style, configuration of the interface is done using Customize Interface .
