Workpoint Edit All
Tool summary :
- Automatically opens a window for multi-editing all workpoints that are on shown layers in your current drawing.
- Shown layers are visible layers (layers marked " Show "). Since Workpoint Edit All works only on visible layers, you can -- prior to activating this tool -- turn off particular layers to exclude workpoint that are on those layers from being edited.
- Workpoint Edit All can help you to ensure that workpoints are drawn consistently. When the Workpoint Edit window opens, you can easily identify mixed entries because they are grayed out . If you then, for example, change the " Font ," all workpoints will be assigned that same font.
- The selection of objects that is made prior to using Workpoint Edit All does not affect the operation of the tool, nor does the tool affect the selection. For example, if you have clouds selected before you activate the tool, the clouds remain selected after Workpoint Edit All is done.
- To invoke Workpoint Edit All and edit all workpoints that are on shown layers:
Method 1 : Click the Workpoint Edit All icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Objects -- Workpoints ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).
Method 2 : If " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Objects > Workpoints > Edit All .
Method 3, 4 or 5 : Workpoint Edit All can also be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the ' Lightning ' layout style, configuration of the interface is done using Customize Interface .
