   Step-by-step instructions :

Add Rebar Item lets you add rebar items to any selected layer of your current Drawing Editor drawing. You need to left-click ( Locate ) a point in order to define a rebar item's location in a drawing. After locating one rebar item, you can locate duplicates of that exact same rebar item elsewhere in your drawing. The following instructions assume that you are using a 3-button mouse.

1 . Before using this tool:

1a (optional) : On the layer selection tool , select the drawing layer that you want to add the rebar item to. This step is optional because you can change the drawing layer in step 3.

1b (optional) : To set the defaults for the to-be-added rebar item(s) to be those of an existing rebar item, double-click the existing rebar item then press " OK " on its edit window.

1c (if applicable) : Unshorten a member detail before adding a rebar item if you want Detail Members to later be able to correctly preserve ' User-created ' annotations. For best accuracy in any type of Drawing Editor drawing, you can count on measurement tools such as Dimension Add or Ruler or Construction Line Add using BSCL to reliably produce precise and consistent results in an unshortened drawing.
