   To place a revision chart :

1 . Before placing the revision chart:

  • Confirm that chart layout in Sheet Revisions is set up the way you want it to be. Sheet Revisions controls the columns that appear on the revision chart and the width of those columns. Sheet Revisions is a Fabricator Option , and thus its setup may change when you " Change Fabricator " to a different current Fabricator . To change to a different Fabricator , Home > press "fabname" > double-click the Fabricator you want.
  • Set the " Anchor location " in Drawing Presentation > the " Revision Chart " tab to where you want the insertion point that you will locate in step 3 . For example, if you want the insertion point to be at the lower, left of the revision chart, set " Anchor location " to ' Lower left '.
  • Open the detail sheet or gather sheet or erection sheet or sheet outline onto which you want to place the revision chart. You can place a revision chart onto a sheet before or after Sheet Item Add . However, the standard procedure is to place the revision chart on a sheet outline before the sheet is created from that outline.

2 . Invoke Place Revision Chart as follows:

Method 1 : Click the Place Revision Chart icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Objects -- Revision Chart ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).

Method 2 : If " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Objects > Revision Chart > Place Revision Chart .

Method 3, 4 or 5 : Place Revision Chart can also be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the ' Lightning ' layout style, configuration of the interface is done using Customize Interface .

3 . Locate- Pan -Return mouse bindings become active. The outline of the revision chart is displayed wherever the point location target is at.

3a (optional) : Select the Locate icon that you want (if it's not selected already).

3b : Place the mouse pointer ( ) so that the insertion point of the revision chart snaps to the location where you want it, then left-click ( Locate ).

4 . The status line reads, " Verify revision chart location ," and the revision chart is shown on screen. Yes - No mouse bindings become active.

Alternative 1 : Left-click ( Yes ) to accept the revision chart's placement.

Alternative 2 : Right-click ( No ) to end this operation without placing the revision chart.
