Isolate Group Member Mode ( Modeling )

Tool summary :

  • Lets you invoke -- via your mouse -- commands for isolating a group member.
  • Modes can be reconfigured by users in Mode Configuration . This documentation explains the defaults for this mode.
  • To activate Isolate Group Member Mode :

    • Method 1 : Click the Isolate Group Member Mode icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Model -- Group Member ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).

    • Method 2 : If " Modeling layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Model > Group Member > Isolate > Isolate Member Mode .

    • Method 3, 4 or 5 : Group Member Mode can also be configured to be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the lightning interface, this configuration is done using Customize Interface .

    • Note: If you have nested this mode inside another mode using Mode Configuration , you can invoke this mode's mouse bindings from within that other mode by clicking the appropriate mouse button. To bring back the mouse bindings of the original mode, use Mode Return (or Esc ).
