Assembly Editor > Navigate >

  • These are the same tools that are on the Navigate menu in Modeling . For the most part, you will want to avoid using them to create complex isometric views in the Assembly Editor .
  • A simple plan view or elevation view is usually ideal for performing a Model > Assembly > Add operation in Modeling , and the same rule of thumb applies in the Assembly Editor . The view that is saved with an assembly in the Assembly Editor is the view that was current when you last defined the reference point of the assembly, for example, by using File > Save .
